Nickel tungsten carbide is a very expensive material, and its extreme hardness makes it incredibly difficult and expensive to work with, requiring specialist diamond tooling. Our slides are ground and polished by hand, to a minute tolerance of 5/100ths of a mm, by a single craftsman here in England - each one takes approximately six weeks to make.

If you change your mind about your order, you may return your items in new, unopened condition for a full refund within 14 days of receipt (you are responsible for the cost of return shipping).
Additionally, we will accept returns of opened or used Artist Series slides within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, provided the slide and any associated accessories and documentation are in perfect, new condition (you are responsible for the cost of return shipping). We reserve the right to make a partial refund or refuse a return if a slide is returned to us damaged.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the product, we are unable to accept returns of used Precision : Crystal nail files.
